Palo Santo Wood- mini bag
1/3 ounce of Palo Santo- small pieces .75 - 2 inches long
Palo Santo (meaning Holy Wood) is a wood that is burned during shamanic and healing ceremonies for the creation of sacred space and the cleansing of energy. The wood is only harvested from branches that have naturally fallen to the ground. It has a unique scent that is slightly spicy, resinous, and citrus.
To burn you light one end of the wood with a flame, let it burn for several seconds and then blow out the flame so that only a glowing ember is left at the tip of the stick. This will smolder and release the purifying smoke. Lightly blowing or fanning the ember will keep it smoldering. When finished place it in a fire safe container and it will extinguish itself in a minute or two.
